Introduction
Ambassadors are Ktown Team's community-facing liaisons. They bring the organization's work into the neighborhood and bring the neighborhood's voice back to the organization. It is an outreach role - Ambassadors are on the ground, building relationships, sharing information, and gathering the feedback that keeps Ktown Team connected to reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Outreach: Organize and attend neighborhood meetings, conduct door-to-door outreach, facilitate workshops, and maintain presence on local social media.
- Information Sharing: Communicate initiatives and opportunities in accessible, culturally appropriate ways. Distribute multilingual materials. Host informational sessions at community spaces.
- Feedback Collection: Listen actively to community concerns. Document and report insights to inform organizational strategy. Advocate for community needs internally.
- Cultural Bridge-Building: Ensure messaging resonates across Koreatown's diverse population. Facilitate cross-cultural understanding. Identify opportunities for cultural celebration within Ktown Team's work.
- Project Support: Assist in planning and executing community projects. Mobilize volunteers for local initiatives.

Joining
Open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Minimum commitment: 5 hours per month.
