What Is Ktown Team?

Ktown Team is a community organization in Koreatown, Los Angeles. We are in our founding stage - establishing the legal framework, designing the platform, and documenting how the organization will operate. Our mission is to unite diverse communities through technology, collaboration, and shared ownership.

We operate with a flat hierarchy - no chain of command, open decision-making, and a belief that the people closest to the problems should lead the solutions.

Where We Are Now

Ktown Team is pre-launch. There are no active staff, no running programs, and no open teams yet. What exists today is the foundation: legal documents, organizational design, this wiki, and the platform architecture. Everything documented here describes what we are building - the structure, roles, tools, and processes that will be in place when we launch.

This means you are seeing the blueprint. If you want to be part of building it, read on.

How to Get Involved

Even at this stage, there are ways to participate. The Getting Involved collection walks through each one - from volunteering during the build phase to financial support and future partnerships.
